       Sir Alec Guinness is so nonchalant, you can never tell he is acting, hence his place at the pinnacle of not only British actors, but all actors everywhere.  I can't remember him ever having a false beat.  Sir Guinness was truly diverse as an actor.  He played comedy, tragedy, military men, statemen, monarchs and just regular guys on stage and screen.  He was also a renowned author.     His very ease on stage and screen may make his audiences hold him in less esteem than the actors who played their roles more flamboyantly both on stage or screen and in real life.  Sir Alec Guinness, however, will never be forgotten as one of history's greatest thespians.
