Gregory Peck

Get movies starring Gregory Peck on VHS, DVD, or Blue-Ray from Amazon.

       Could anyone other than Gregory Peck play Captain Ahab?  If they did, I would be constantly comparing them negatively to Mr. Peck.  Such a handsome guy playing such an obsessed salty captain was imaginative casting that worked beautifully.   "Moby Dick" alone probably brought more readers to Melville than any English Lit teacher ever had.  And there is "To Kill a Mockingbird."  A more modern classic, but the same is true here.  No one can imagine anyone else playing the role of Atticus.  It just wouldn't be right.  Another hollywood actor that is so much more than just a pretty face.
