       How can you dis the best Hamlet that ever was?  And then he goes and stars with Marilyn Monroe in that wierd (but funny) movie "The Prince and the Showgirl" with an archness only he could muster.  Sir Laurence was the epitome of the British stage actor, notably Shakespearean plays.  He showed everybody else how to play Shakespeare's characters and how to speak Shakespeare's lines.  In the movies, his talent went from handsome leading man in "Wurthering Heights" to the nasty Nazi in "Boys from Brazil, to the haunting "Rebecca."  He will be remembered in thespian history as one of the greatest ever.  Let's hope some caring person is lovingly preserving his films so future generations will know what acting is.
