       robert de noro is great.scent of a women and midnight run or untouchables says it all.pacino is good in scent of a women but he lacks the amazingly gifted acting skills of de niro.pacino seems to striving a lot to get into the skin of the roles he plays.de nero does it so naturaly as if the soul of the character has silently entered into his own body.it was a shock to see hopkins at 11.he deserves a higher rating.hannibal tells it all.

       de niro in the screen is a beast why he is in the top of the list,it so simple,a lot of people adore him and he is wayyy better than al pacino look at the conversation in heat,how is constent and powerful and natural while al pacino seems ditracted and loosing the ryhtm wa must face it,de niro is the greatest of all time.

       Dinero is the best actor in the world. Godfather 2, he was on top of situation. Goodfelas, I cant ever get tired of seeeing that movie over and over again. Same applies to the untouchable, Taxi Driver.

       Deniro and Pacino are my two favorite actors but in the last decade Deniro seemed to have more of an edge with the dry humor in movies like Analyze This/That and Meet the Parents/Fockers. Therefore it's fair to say he's no. 1.

       I think de niro is the best actor of all time , he inhabits the characters h'es played more than any actor i've ever seen , his commitment and concern to the roles show how magnificent he's as an actor , when u watch him u feel like he'e living the character he becomes it more that acting it , Bang The Drum Slowly , Mean Streets , Taxi Driver , Deer Hunter , Raging Bull , King Of Comedy , Midnight Run , Jacknife , Awakenings up till Everybody's Fine movies that show his great range even to some extent u dont believe the same guy's played these characters i mean is Rupert Pupkin and Jacknife acted by the same guy? travis bickle , Jack Walash , Jimmy conway i will go on and on and still can not describe his greatness , he's simply the best.

       Sorry, but he does not rank above Al Pacino, or even Marlon Brando. Pacino carries more of a charming and charismatic persona on the screen than Deniro. Deniro is a great actor, i am not denying that at all. I think Deniro's best work by far is is Cape Fear. Unbeleivable acting in that movie, but comapred to Pacino on the screen he lacks real humility. Just my opinion. As for Brando, it goes without saying!

       Deniro is the man. Easily. Not to take anything away from him, he is easily one of the greatest actors of the past 30-50 years. But under certain circumstances, he shines more or less times than others. Under the direction of great directors, ( Scorcese, Tarantino, Ramis, Mann) he thrives. But under some others, not so much.

       he is wonderful, he can play multiple roles of course his best performances are taxi driver, raging bull, deer hunter, awakenings and the godfather 2. this man wont stop until he dies.

       Brilliant, but stiff and impotent in his creative process. Jack nicholson is a genius. Deniro is not. Tim Robbins is in my opinion, more of a genius than de niro. Tim Robbins deserves to be much higher on the list. Jack nicholson should be #1. Brando #2, James Dean #3. Deniro is definately top 10, but not top 5.

       By far my favorite, especially with martin scorsese. 5 in AFI's top 100. Raging Bull, Godfather II, Taxi Driver, Deer Hunter, and Goodfellas are 5 of my top 7, and are AFI's 5 in 100. Casino, Analyze This, Meet the Parents,and Once upon a Time in America are also good.

       De Niro is without question one of the greatest actors of all time.  In my opinion, he is definitely at the top of the list.  His outstanding performances in Raging Bull and Taxi Driver are enough to put him in the top.  Then, when you take into consideration his performances in The Godfather Part II, A Bronx Tale, Goodfellas, Casino, and Heat...he becomes top 5.  Adding to his list, he presented to us his sense of humor and showed what a well-rounded actor he is by putting together hilarious perfomances in Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, Analyze This, and Analyze That.

       Robert De Niro is definatly one of the best actors, he has been in so many of my favorite movies. I especially love that he can play just about any part in a movie if it's funny or serious or whatever else it may be. I think he should be moved up on the list.

       He is definetely NUMBER ONE, not three.  His versatility is unmatched, ranging from hateful and disturbed in Raging Bull to absolutely hilarious in Meet the Parents. BEST ACTOR EVER.
