Pete Rose

       I have to agree with the other poster.  There are athletes who have done a number of terrible things off of the field and many of them are still praised for what they did on the field.  I argue that very few of those athletes did what Pete Rose did on the ball field.  I think it is a shame that baseball has turned their back on one of their very best players.

       I met pete several times when i was a teen in the late 70s and he is very nice and friendly and bigger than life, he has broken many and holds many records and to be banned from baseball  is just wrong, thre are many athletes that have done much worse things and still get reconized for what they did and pete is on the outside looking in and its wrong.
