       well i think golf is so boring but the fact is that it is a very challenging sport and tiger woods has done his part in being world greatest golfer and if youre considered world greatest at any sport then i believe he should be rightfully placed as top 50 greatest athletes of all time.

       Golf is the worlds toughest "game". I have a tough time calling it a sport when you don't ever have to run, jump or duck at any point. when guys like john daly have won majors, it shows the athleticism needed. Tiger woods #2! give me a break. he hasn't even passed jack yet.

       Dano i cant belive u would say tiger woods isnt a athlete and golf isnt a sport. Just because when ur ass makes a mistake out on the feild or court and u have a team to back you up dosnt mean that golf isnt a sport. You have no idea what it takes to compete alone and win alone.

       I agree with Jared, how far can you head be up your own butt for you to not see what Tiger has done is anytihng but extrodinary. Golf is the greatist embassader of his sport. Not just his sport but in all of sports. I don't know what sports you pay, nor do i care, you lost ever bit of my respect when you said Tiger Woods is not an athlete.

       Wow, how arrogant can you be. You say if you can't play defence then it's not a sport... Well then all Track and Field events, running, swimming, gymnastics, tennis, boxing, and golf are not sports? Well bud i can gurantee you're are terrible at all those. So if you say all those things aren't sports, then Phelps. Bolt, Ali, Fedderer and others, aren't athletes. Well that sure makes you look like an idiot. Just because you like football or basketball or what ever doesn't mean that golf is not a sport. Anyone who knows about sports, knows that what tiger has done in golf is out of this world. I hope more people see this and rip you up, saying that is like saying the beatles aren't musicians.

       Golf is not a sport.  If we're going to include Tiger Woods than do we also have to include professional poker players?  How about competative eaters?  If so I think the top 3 should be Takeru Kobayashi, Doyle Brunson, and Tiger Woods.  I'm sure that a lot of people will disagree with me but I think if you can't play defense, its not a sport.  That being said, I do agree that Tiger is the greatest golfer of all time.
