       Hunter Thompson is the real originator of the no-spin-zone, not Bill O'Reilly.  Thompson with his Gonzo Journalism, quick wit, and excellent skills at skewering hypocrisy is far more true to himself and his writing than O'Reilly could even dream of.  His "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" is a classic of stripping off the layers of false glamor, false lawyering, false performances and the falseness of a part of western culture in general.  His review of the Rolling Stones free concert at Altamont, California in the 1960's for (Rolling Stone magazine(?) or was it the Village Voice ? ) is classic journalism that every student of journalism must read.  Hunter S. Thompson was a refreshing free spirit in his life and in his writing.
