       I'm not so sure that I can get on board with Salinger being this high on the list.  Clearly he was voted here on the merit of just one book that, in my opinion, is not all that great.  I really cannot imagine a world where Salinger is a better writer than Vladmir Nabokov.  I guess thats why I'm not a fiction writer.

       J.D. Salinger? The Catcher in the Rye, one of the greatest novels of all time. Amazing writer, sad he died though. The Catcher in the Rye is a must read book, an amazing piece of literature!
