       Joseph Heller's "Catch 22" is a true classic of war time.  The novel is the best satire of the military I have ever read, and just may be the best ever written.  Mr. Heller had to have been associated with the military in one way or another in order to get this hilarious novel in print.  Even the names of the characters are delicious satire.  Joseph Heller is believed to have also written the screenplay to "Casino Royale."  Entirely possible, as this work also bears Heller's satiric imprint.
