Stephenie Meyer 

       Pratically all of the books on this list are classic, old books written a very long time ago. E.g. Emily Bronte, Homer, Charles Dickens. I think that some adults think that just because teenage romance books like Vampire Diaries, Darke Academy, Twilight and others aren't as good. Which I think is very unfair on many people part, I think that classics can be just as good as any modern day books. I've read many classic books and also many modern one's, and I find it very annoying when people make fun of this Vampire genre that is popular right now. It's just like a fashion style or movie genre that has come back to life, and I think that people should respect other peoples favorite books. Because in the end it's all reading, and it's not what you read it's the fact that you actually do read.

       And i'm only 12 but this is my view, of reading. And I think that there should be some more modern authors, or authors who write for young adults or children. Because it shouldn't matter about whether the book is for adults or for 12 year olds.

       So some authors that should be on lists like these are:

• Stephanie Mckenzie
• Stephanie Meyer
• and others

       I would recommend looking up these authors and checking out their books..
