Review of Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss

       Oh that Sam I Am!  Green Eggs and Ham is a funny and catchy children's book.  As a kindergarten teacher, I truly understand the value of this book.  When I read the book in class, the children pick up on the rhyme while laughing at the character's unwillingness to eat green eggs and ham.  The book is also repetitious, which helps the children remember and retell the story.  I love reading this book every year, and we even have green eggs and ham as a snack.  Unfortunately, most of the kids will NOT eat green eggs and ham-go figure.
