Sliced Bread

You gotta
love the person who invented a way to slice bread autimatically into neat even slices, regardless of the type of
bread being sliced. Anyone who has ever taken a large baguette to make garlic bread and slice into, say,
twnety neat slices to slather the garlic, butter and herbs over each slice will surely bless the individual who did
all that slicing for them. The brown bag lunch would be a horror to make in the morning if you couldn't start
out with bread already sliced. Think of the cut fingers this one little device to which no one ever gives a
second thought has saved throughout the decades. Any mother with school age kids who has to put up sandwiches
every morning five days a week should think about the inventor of this wonderful, time (and finger) saving
device.
