Steven Soderbergh

       Steven Soderberg is the director of such diverse films as "Che," "Ocean's 11," "Sex, Lies and Videotape," "Traffic," and "Erin Brockovich."  He was the screenwritier as well as the director of "Sex, Lies and Videotape," which won the Palme D'or Cannes Film Festival award.  He wrote "Sex Lies and Videotape" in eight days beore turning his hand to directing it.  This wasn't enough for him though.  He came roaring back with his creative  talent to be nominated for two Best Director Academy, Golden Globes and Directors Guild of America awards in the same year with "Erin Brockovich" and "Traffic."  He won the oscar best director for both films.  It was the first time in 60 years that such a dual nomination occurred. I gotta catch more of this guys films.
