Tim Burton

       Tim Burton is a treasure among today's directors.  His willingness to take chances draws me to every movie he makes.  From the incomparably wierd and wonderful Ed Wood (Hey, I grew up in Hollywood, those guys still exist) through his animated features beginning with the Night Before Halloweed, Burton gives his signature touch to all he directs.  What a mind he must have to think up some of the outragious creations he has given us.  Even Peewees Big Adventure had style.
