Forrest Gump Directed by Robert Zemeckis(1994)

       Although this movie was well directed and the characters of Lt. Dan and Jenny are intriguing and outstandingly performed, this film lacks a lot of substance. Tom Hanks gives a substandard performance of a character that is hard to identify with or care about, and Sally Fields is just disappointing. If you want a mindless romp through a disjointed and ineffective plot, this is the movie for you.

       I love Forrest Gump.  It may not be groundbreaking or culturally important but it is a fun story and a great movie.  The theme music by Alan Sylvestri(sp) is soooo beautiful it made me learn to play the piano just so I could play it.  Two thumbs from this girl!!

       Forrest Gump is the best movie Ive ever seen.  Tom Hanks is at his best.  The story is funny and tragic at times.  A little something for everyone.
