       I've seen this movie and could see it twice more and still get something new out of it.  Daniel Day Lewis's performance is always top notch.  In "There Will be Blood" he exceeds even his own immense talent.  The man is powerful!  The two antagonists are equally stubborn and neither will let go of their deeply ingrained philosophies of life.  One is a rich landowner who came up the hard and violent way, the other is a religious zealot who also came by it through violence and hard times.  They hated each other with a passion that burns within them and the audience can't help but feel it.  The film is a fascinating study of human nature and just how good an actor can be.  Why Daniel Day-Lewis didn't win the Oscar for best acting that year is shameful for the Academy.
