       Your'e going to put Charlie Parker at the bottom of the list?  What an outrage!  Along with Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington, Charlie is one of the most influential musicians in  jazz.  He was a leader in the bebop jazz style.  He composed music and played it on the saxophone like few others could.  He gave us jazz fans some gold standards, the likes of "Billie's Bounce" and "Ornithology" (he was known as Charile "Bird" Parker).  He was also one of the great blues players, notably "Parker's Mood" being a deeply affecting blues recording.  He belongs right up there with Satchmo and the Duke.
