       Eric Clapton and his guitar will go down in musical history as one of the greatest singers, composers, musicians, and songwriters of all time.  From his very early years playing in bands such as the Yardbirds, Cream and Derek and the Dominoes to one of his latest with the legendary blues master B.B. King, Eric is always sublime.  He has that signature voice and guitar style that is unmatched.  His early song "Layla" with Derek and the Dominoes is a classic as well his own later song "Tears in Heaven" a classic tribute to his son Conor who lost his life at the age of four by tragically and accidently falling out of a 53rd story apartment building window while with his mother in New York City.  It is a moving and authentic outcry of grief.  This song alone shows what a great artist can do with words and music.

       Probably one of the top 5 guitarists of all time.  Eric Clapton carried many great bands including Cream, Derek and the Dominos, the Yardbirds (maybe), and of course his solo career.  If anyone is a great musician it is Clapton.
