       The Bee Gees are a phenomenal Austraian band of brothers who have been performing together since the 1960's.  The Brothers Gibb, hence Bee Gees include Robin, Barry and Maurice Gibb.  They also had a much younger brother who was also a talented singer, Andy, who tragically died of a drug overdose just as his career was flowering.  The Bee Gees actually began as young kids singing in their native town of  Manchester, Enland mostly because they loved to harmonize.  The moved to Queensland, Australia when the boys were around ten years old.  The brothers co-wrote every song they sang and were very inffluential in the 1970's with their disco hits from Saturday Night Fever. and other songs featuring Barry's distinctive falsetto voice.  Robin left the band for while in the late sixties and struck out on his own as he was miffed that Barry seemed to be getting all the attention.  He came back to the band after a short time and joined in their huge sucess in the disco era.  Maurice died suddenly in 2003 and very little has been heard from Barry and Robin since.
