       Tom Jones with that powerful Welsh voice and sexy stage persona began performing in Wales in 1963.  He is still performing today, but he's come a long way from playing only in his native Wales.  He is an international sensation and draws crowds to this day.  His voice is as a strong as ever and his ability to get the juices flowing in his female audiences is still there.  He recorded a few classics early in his career, It's Not Unusual, Green, Green Grass of Home and Delilah.  His early influences were R & B performers like Little Richard, Jackie Wilson and Brook Benton along with rocker Jerry Lee Lewis.
