Now I'm not normally a fan of sci-fi, be
it in the form of films, books or TV shows - however I have to say that I found Ender's Game quite
enjoyable. The longer battle descriptions did bore me a little, however I found the ending touching and
the premise of the story was great. I had to constantly remind myself whilst reading the early parts of
the book at the battle school that the story was centering around children as young as 6. I've still
not been completely won over to the sci-fi cause, however I would look to read another story in the Ender
series, and as such I am awarding Ender's Game a respectable 6.5 out of 10.

Card is a master of using science fiction
as a means to separate, target, analyze and expose the human condition. Ender's Game is a unique and
worthwhile book.

After 10 minutes of trying to write a
great review about this book, I am speechless! This was THE best book I have read to date! so much character
depth, you are able to relate to the main character (ender). and I must say, this was the first book (and
only since) that made me litterally laugh out loud! And to add to that, its also the only book that has made
me choke up and "get something in my eye(as I told my wife)" I'm a late 20's male. That just shows how deep
and rich this book is. Definitally a MUST for anyone of any age!
I've also read all 6 of the other enders book. I reccomend them all

Ender's Game is one of my all time
favorite books. I have recommended this book to many people who don't read Science Fiction and have
been sincerely thanked every time.
I think Sci Fi is at it's best when it's about how human beings think and
behave in worlds and circumstances that are strange to us. Orson Scott Card is a master of writing truly
human stories in foreign worlds.
I second the recommendation for the Ender's Shadow series and how it shows how
deep the original masterpiece is and how he has become and even better writer. But still give top spot to
Ender's Game.
5 of 5 stars (should any book on this list be anything
less?).

I would say this is my first real science
fiction novel and I liked it. I gave if a 4 out of 5 stars. The only thing I didnt love about the novel was
that it was a bit depressing feeling the entire way through. I like a more happy feeling during my books. The
main character was just too sad and jaded. I wish he could have found more happiness in his life. Over all
good book.

My wife talked me into trying to read
every book from this top 100 list. I wasn't too thrilled about the idea because for the most part the list is
full of books I have read, seen the movie version of, or just plain am not interested in. There were,
however, just a few books I had never heard of, including this one. Now I am glad for my wife's idea. I loved
Ender's Game. I cannot wait to read the other stories as well. This is a book I will remember. Thank you,
Honey.

This is an absolute gem of a novel.
Pure entertainment from start to finish. Nothing groundbreaking, simply one of those novels you can't
put down. Highly, highly recommend it for anyone looking for a 'fun' book to read.
Similarly, Card's parallel tale, Ender's Shadow, which recounts the exact same
story from another character's vantage point, is equally if not more entertaining than this original. Reading
them one after the other is breathtaking, as they both compliment the other so well. It's simply fascinating
how much depth Card puts into these characters that he's able to write two separate, riveting tales of the exact
same story.
(p.s. read Ender's Game first, then Ender's Shadow second)

I had to read this book during my
freshmen year annd i have to say that it is one of the best i have ever read. Card is an exellent writer who
creaes lifelike charachters in a brutal and chilling environment. The story of ender wiggin is one that
everyone should know.

This novel is an excellent read for
young adults. It opens when a young boy named Andrew "Ender" Wiggin has his monitor, a device for seeing his
thoughs, is taken out of his head. It then moves on to a military personel, Colnel Graff who takes Ender to
"Battle School", a place where they train geniuses to become generals and commanders, to fight an alien race
known as "Buggers". Mean while, his evil brother, Peter plans to take over the world, and gets his loving and
caring sister Valentine to help him. The book is really hard to put down, and coming from the occasional
reader it is an amazing book!

This is simply the one of the
greatest books ever written. That's all that must be said.

This book is a great read for
children, adults and everyone inbetween. It has some more adult themes, but would be good for your
youngsters who you find sneaking your Stephen King books under the covers. It has amazing character
development, a great flow and rythym. It was a "one sitting" sort of read. If you haven't,
do. It's on this list for a reason!
