Gone with the Wind
by Margaret Mitchell
Review of Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell

I just love this book,i am surprised
that it is not placed in the no 1 position though it deserved to be.i wish that the sequel was written by the
author herself.the story and the plot is unparallel and i wish that the author could write some more
books.

I have read this novel two times. After
reading once I bought this book.I have read many novels but this is the best book I have ever read. When I
read this for the first time I could not consentrate on any other thing except this book.I am very very sorry
that Margaret Mitchell died so young. She wrote in beautiful english and described everything arvellously. Some
of the charactors like Scarlet, Melanie, Rhet Butler are unforgettable.I keep asking everbody to read this
book atleast once in lifetime. This book should have been the number one in
the list...Thankyou.

Truly one the best classics, nay, novels,
ever written! Margaret Mitchell has a propensity to convey significant, poignant messages in her writing.
Even though this was her sole book, its contents surpass even all the numerous works of Sir Walter Scott and
Charles Dickens. Throughout this epic novel, the reader journeys with Scarlett O'Hara (the beautiful and yet
recalcitrant protagonist) for 12 years of her life that comprise of the American Civil War and its aftermath
known as Reconstruction. Almost every person could relate to Mitchell's strong-willed heroine. Despite an
excessive amount of trauma like the loss of a most beloved mother, the deaths of old friends, going from
affluence and indulgence to obscurity and hard work almost overnight, ect, Scarlett manages to bear through
it all with fortitude and the saying "I won't think about it now, I'll think about it tomorrow. After all,
tomorrow is another day".

Truly a classic. One of the besty American
novels EVER. After all, who doesn't love a good story about cavaliers and cotton fields and a
malicious, selfish, strong willed young woman? You can't help but love Scarlett, despite the fact that she's
a nasty spoiled brat of a southern belle. Civil War + Love story + Tara= One heck of a read. FIVE
STARS!

One of the best novels ever
written! A true masterpiece! I will read again and again and I will never forget the story of
Scarlett O'Hara. Margaret Mitchell was a gifted writer, how sad that she died so young.

One of my all time favorites hands
down......!!!!! This is one of those all I need is a tissue box type of novels. It's also a ride of
emmotionsn you go from being upset at scarlett to understanding her every movement. At the end all you wanna
do is fine you'r own Rhett Butler..So i agree with Gone With The Wind being better than 27th
place....

Its really the best novel ive ever read.
The struggles and hardships faced by Scarlett O'Hara, her headstrong and never-say-die attitude and her
completely pragmatic ideas and actions are very beautifully described by Margaret Mitchell. I could almost
see the scenes in front of my eyes , coz the descriptions are so realistic and amazing. I really love
this novel, and i think it deserved better than the 27th rank. Read it ,its great!!

This is my favorite novel ever. Even though
it's over 700 pages, it is a quick and enjoyable read. It is simply amazing and best represents the South as
a fascinating literary microcosm.
