      I listened to these books on audio tape and what a joy. Love it love it love it. The audio book was such a magical treat. Read i,t listen to it, love it.

      I was first given these books at the age of 7 and have loved them ever since.  Despite the religious undertones in these stories and often bland characters, the deliciously inspiring aspects of these books far outweight any critisisms. They have been like freinds to me for many years, providing an escape into a completely magical world, something that I always look for in works of literature.

      I remember reading the Narnia books when I was about 12 and thinking they were great.  Now I am a mother of 2 (9 and 13) and they enjoy the books and movies.  I found myself reading one of the books one night while I was waiting for the laundry to finish and a few hours later I was a the end of the first books.  It was incredible.  I have since read the rest of the series and appreciate them on a whole new level now.  If you read the books in the past and enjoyed them as a child I would highly recommend reading them again as an adult.  If you have never read them, than the first time around should prove very enjoyable to you as well.
