Doctor

       I guess I understand why people think that being a doctor is wonderful.  You do make a nice paycheck (dependant totally on your specialty) and doctors are generally respected.  What people don't understand is the fact that doctors are responsible for people living or dying on a daily basis.  We are pitted against death himself and when we don't win, people want to know why.

       The bottom line is that being a medical doctor is extremely stressful and often thankless work.  Being on call often kills social or romantic engagements as well.  That being said I wouldn't change a thing.
