       "Every Breath You Take" is the ultimate stalker song.  Sting sings the words "I'll be watching you" with such sly innocence, you may think that this is a lover who doesn't want his girl to get away.  Nope.  This guy is a stalker whose real mission is to oppress the object of his affection, lock her up where only he can have access to her and throw away the key.  Some love song.  It's really a song of domestic terrorism.  Okay, so it's a somewhat dysfunctional song, but a great one.  Sting has a terrific imagination, even though slightly warped.  Great work, Sting.
