Best 100 Songs of All Time

Buckley has a good voice and sings beautifully. Unfortunately he demonstrates that he has no idea what the lyrics actually mean. I'll go with Leonard and vote for KD Lang.

Best 100 Songs of All Time

If you are going to put this song on the list (where I think it deserves to be) at least give credit to the proper songwriter who first wrote and recorded this song which is LEONARD COHEN by the way, an artist who is awesome compared to the joke that is Jeff Buckley.

@andrew.  Whoever wrote the song doesn't matter.  The Jeff Buckley arangement is the best one Ive heard to date.  A lot of people cover songs that were written by someone else and make a previously OK song into a GREAT song.  This is one such case.

Best 100 Songs of All Time

One of the most poignant songs ever recorded. And take note, Jeff Buckley doesn't need any assistance from a full orchestra. His own pure, clear voice is more than enough.

This is a Leonard Cohen song. Jeff Buckley is a hack.
