       There are so many wonderful things to say about The Beatles hit song, Something.  The lyrics are soothing and the softness of the song allows the listener to really feel the emotion behind the piece.  George Harrison truly knew how to capture his love for "someone".  It seems unclear if he wrote the song with a specific person in mind (perhaps his wife at the time).  Regardless, the song can easily be applied to other relationships, which is why I think that the song is so well-loved.  Many people have sampled or created their own version of the song and it has been used in commercials over the years.  In addition, some say that Something was Frank Sinatra's favorite Beatles song, which is quite a compliment.  I believe that the simplicity of the song is what makes it so beautiful and my favorite part is the bridge: 

"You're asking me will my love grow,
I don't know, I don't know.
Stick around, and it may show,
But I don't know, I don't know."
