       When the world is too much with you, the burden you carry is too much, it's Monday, the road's are icy and you are late for work, and the cat just upchucked a hairball on the carpet as you were running out the door, start singing this song.  This may be the most profoundly upbeat song every sung.  Even cynical pessimists can't stay sour too long when this song comes to mind.  What A Wonderful World, particularly by the incomparable (and always optimistic) Louis Armstrong is a treasure particularly for our modern hyperkinetic and sometimes blue, blue world.   Listen carefully to the words and you can't help but open your eyes to what Louis is telling you and feel ashamed of yourself for your downer mood.  LIghten up people!  We need more songs like What a Wonderful World.  This isn't an "if only" song.  It's a "Hey, this is what the world really is" song.
