Mad Men

I love this series. Perhaps because I was working in New York City in the
sixties near to the era depicted in "Mad Men." "Mad Men" covers the mid to late fifties as well. In any
case, the office scenes, the scenes between male and female coworkers as well as coworkers of the same gender are
right on for the time. A certain poetic license is in play here as some of the action is exaggerated, but not
to the extent it's wrong. Whoever cast this spectacular series deserves an Emmy, as do all members of the
cast, the writers and the directors of each episode. Special thanks to the creater and producer Matthew
Wiener for bringing his concept to television where we can all follow and enjoy it. He took a tremendous risk
and it paid off.
