Twin Peaks

Twin Peaks was delightfully weird and could only have come from the directorial
genius of David Lynch. This was a moody piece taking place in the state of Washington and had to do with a
murder of a popular high school girl, or so it seemed. What it was really about was a cast of characters so
different from the normal television regulars and in such places doing things that were never done before,
even though mundane, that it blasted through ordinary TV series concepts forever. There were people
that visited a particular diner and ordered only cherry pie. There was a beautiful middle aged Chinese lady
that was always the center of mystery. There was the poor dead teenager, but was she really dead? And
if so, who dunnit? And why? The show became a cult favorite and introduced many actors that went on to
become stars of the big screen - Kyle MacLachlan and Laura Flynn Boyle among them More David Lynch on
television please.
