       Metal Gear Solid is a great game developed by Kojima and published by Konami. You play the character Solid Snake whose sole mission is to take back Shadow Moses Island from a group of terrorists who have taken it over for its military secrets. It is 3rd Person and is a strategy/Action type game. With a sorta angled top down over the shoulder perspective you go through various areas with detailed backgrounds(well as detailed as it gets for the PS1) trying to complete your objectives given to you by your superior, The Colonel. With many different tactics to be used and an arsenal of weapons to find and use you will be playing this game for some time. Each boss with it's own strategy needed and many reasons to play it over and over again. This game is a must play for any fan of the series or just anyone who wants to have a good challenge.
