The Starry Night

       Starry night is vivid, bright and colorful.  It would bring joy and excitement into the most dull of places.  I know since my shrink used to have a replica print hanging over his desk in his office.  What kind of a shrink sits behind a desk when talking to you anyway.

       This is the my absolute favorite painting of all time.  Van Gogh's daring use of color is striking from the second that the work comes into view.  Upon further inspection you will find many many things to love about Starry Night.
